IST 205 - Advanced Networking Technology This course will provide the student an advanced understanding of network design and implementation. Students learn how to administrate and integrate different network operating systems at both the client and server levels. Students configure the equipment and technologies used in LANs, WANs, and telecommunication systems. Includes configuration and management of multiple network services and utilities that monitor and enhance network performance. Emphasis will be placed on how to manage technology transitions, change management, and on working with people who support the process. Industry standard guidelines will provide the framework for this course.
