IST 175 - Networking Technologies Students are prepared for the CompTIA Network+ Exam and to perform tasks commonly performed by IT network professionals including system administrators, network administrators and network engineers. Includes fundamentals of data communications, computer networks, management and support of hardware and software networking components, including IP configuration, setting up wireless and wired networks, managing networks, basic network security, software updates, and hardware upgrades. A general understanding of computer support and maintenance is recommended.
