DMS 212 - General Ultrasound Dir Prac I Introduces the student to clinical education. Lectures will include clinical expectations, clinical paperwork, peer discussion, clinical issues and reflection of clinical experiences. Includes correlation of pertinent history/assessment, laboratory tests, including other imaging modalities, as well as interpersonal relationships of the imaging department and patient management. Protocols of the upper abdomen, superficial structures, pediatric exams, the pelvis and obstetrics will be reviewed.
