DMS 106 - General Ultrasound II Emphasizes sonographic protocols, normal anatomy and physiology of the breast, female pelvis, and first, second and third trimester obstetrics. Discusses vascular anatomy and applications of Doppler/color imaging along with hemodynamics as it pertains to each topic. Also discusses correlation of pertinent patient history/assessment, laboratory tests, and other imaging modalities. Includes interpersonal relationships of the imaging department and patient management skills. Achieves psychomotor objectives through laboratory practice sessions enhanced by instructor evaluations.
