CIV 235 - Structural Design I This course will present the principles of soil mechanics as it relates to general construction and foundation systems including engineering properties of soils, soils exploration, compaction, water in soils, consolidation and settlement, soil strength, foundation design, and slope stability. These principles will be applied to realistic problems.
Co-requisites: (PHY 112 or PHY 152 or PHY 143 ) and CIV 185
Prerequisites: EET 130 or IST 131
