Required Courses

*The Age of Coursework for Vascular Sonography Certificate courses is two years - chair approval required for courses beyond that.  Please refer to College Policy, Chapter 2 - Academic, 3358:11-2-22 Age of Coursework Policy.

**In addition, all Vascular Sonography Certificate courses must be completed within two years from initial entrance into the certificate.  All courses must be completed with a grade of “C” or better or the student will be academically withdrawn.

• MIT 102 - Ind Delivery MIT Lab Credits: 1 to 2(Lab: 1 to 2)
• DMS 205 - Vascular Ultrasound IV Credits: 3(Lec: 3)
• DMS 209 - Vascular Ultrasound V Credits: 3(Lec: 3)
• DMS 213 - Vascular Ultrasound Dir Prac I Credits: 3(Lec: .5 Clinical: 16)
• DMS 215 - Vascular Ultrasound Dir Pra II Credits: 3(Lec: .5 Clinical: 16)
• BUS 105 - Effective Human Relations Credits: 3(Lec: 3)

Petition for Certificate Completion

Students are eligible to become a candidate for a certificate when the student has completed all necessary requirements. Students who are registering for their final semester of course work must submit a petition for certificate completion by accessing their Ozone account.
