Sterile Processing Certificate (Owens Code: ZSPC)

Required Courses

^*The Age of Coursework for the Sterile Processing certificate courses is two years - chair approval required for courses beyond that.  Please refer to College Policy, Chapter 2 - Academic, 3358:11-2-22 Age of Coursework Policy.

^**In addition all Sterile Processing certificate courses must be completed within three years from initial entrance into the program.  All courses must be completed with a grade of “C” or better or the student will be academically withdrawn.

*** All students must be 18 years of age before the second (Spring) semester of the program.

Petition for Certificate Completion

Students are eligible to become a candidate for a certificate when the student has completed all necessary requirements. Students who are registering for their final semester of course work must submit a petition for certificate completion by accessing their Ozone account.
