CIV 120 - Intro To Geo Info Systems

This course introduces the components of a basic Geographic Information System(GIS) and how it is assembled and used. A GIS consists of a database, spatial or map information and some way to link them. Through the use of commercial GIS software, the student will become familiar with the
basics of GIS.

Prerequisites: CAD 115 or CAD 132 or equivalent experience
