EET 282 - Routing Protocols and Concepts The second networking course in Cisco networking leading to the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) designation. The routers’ architecture, components, and operation will be examined. Routing principles and routing protocols are explained. Allocating IP addresses through VLSM is described. The hands-on lab component entails configuring routing through the use of static and default routes, and distance vector and link-state routing protocols. Routing protocols used are RIP1 and 2, EIGRP, and OSPF.
