MIT 105 - Medical Imaging Basics Introduces the student to the basics of a specific medical imaging profession. Discusses terminology, equipment, patient care, image production and characteristics, and professionalism. Current career options, practice standards and professional organizations will also be presented. Patient imaging experiences within the laboratory setting will provide students an opportunity to apply principles and skills learned.
