PTA 210 - Pathological Dysfunction This course offers guidelines, precautions, and contraindications for interventions with patients who have health conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, pancreatitis, musculoskeletal or neuromuscular disorders. Disease etiology, medical diagnosis, treatment, and associated implications for the physical therapist assistant are presented. The use of evidence-based research to achieve optimal patient outcomes is discussed.
