MET 222 - Machine Design I Studies the kinematics of basic mechanical mechanisms, position, displacement, velocity and acceleration. Graphical and analytical methods are used to analyze the design systems of linkages, cams and gear trains. The course progresses to combine the principles of machine design and mechanisms into a system analysis and design approach.
