EET 251 - Biomedical Instrumentation II In this co-op (internship) experience course on the biomedical equipment technician profession, students will continue to do safety testing preventative maintenance inspections, troubleshooting and repair of biomedical equipment under the supervision of the clinical engineer or department supervisor. Hemodialysis, clinical laboratory, ultrasound, diagnostic and therapeutic imaging equipment, nuclear medicine, magnetic resonance imaging equipment, and radiation safety as well as safety codes that apply to health care facilities are studied. An introduction to the clinical engineering department function and operation is included.
