MUS 180 - Audio Recording I

Introduction to audio recording techniques including the principles of sound and hearing, microphone theory, audio consoles, signal flow, signal processors, studio acoustics and modern multi-track recording, mixing and mastering. Also included are an introduction to the DAW (digital audio workstation) Pro Tools.

Co-requisites: CRT 105 with a “C” or better
