Landscape and Turfgrass Management Certificate Information

The Landscape and Turfgrass Management Certificate offers hands-on, indoor and outdoor classes that prepare students with knowledge of plants, terminology, management, and the use of different types of plants. Students obtaining this certificate would be prepared to undertake various landscape and gardening aspects such as public gardens, botanical gardens, and ornamental gardens. Aesthetic features and placement are also discussed. These certificate classes can be applied towards the Landscape and Turfgrass Management Program, AAS (Owens Code: LTMP) . Upon completion of the certificate, students should be prepared for entry level positions in maintenance and management services related to landscape, turfgrass, and horticultural industries.
