Pre-Law Concentration Information

This concentration is for students interested in pursuing a degree in law. It provides an interdisciplinary background that many law schools like to see in applicants. Considering most law schools require a minimum of a bachelor’s degree for admission, students should always consult with their preferred institution and transfer advisor on degree and admission requirements. For example, some law schools may prefer a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, History, Law & Social Thought, or Philosophy. This concentration gives students an introduction to those subject areas but should not be considered a direct pathway to a bachelor’s degree in a subject area such as Political Science, History, Law & Social Thought, or Philosophy.
