This program is designed to provide students a powerful combination of career and continuing education options to foster skills as software developers. Students will learn to build software by writing code, as well as modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, and upgrade interfaces. Students will learn how to perform system testing, use validation procedures, work with customers and departments on technical issues including maintenance and project management. This program gives a strong foundation in modern languages and applications used in business and industry today including: Java, Visual Basic, Python, SQL, XML, X/HTML, Java Scripting, and C#.
