Program Information:

This program provides students with a professional atmosphere using state-of-the-art networking equipment to become skilled information technology specialists. After graduation, students may seek employment, continue with certificates in Information Technology or pursue transfer possibilities to earn a bachelor’s degree at a four-year institution.

Student Learning Outcomes:

  • Identify an Information Systems related problem and recommend a solution.

  • Implement and document a solution.

  • Demonstrate effective hands-on use of office productivity software.

  • Effectively communicate both orally and/or in written form with management, team members or customers.

  • Demonstrate effective research and documentation skills.

  • Recognize ethical, legal and socially responsible practices.

  • Install and maintain secure computer hardware and systems software.

  • Implement accounting principles using accounting software.

Students are eligible to become a candidate for an Associate Degree when the student has completed all necessary requirements. Students who are registering for their final semester of course work and plan to graduate must submit a petition for degree completion by accessing their Ozone account.
