Career Program:

Credits earned in the Organizational Leadership Certificate may be applied toward the Associate of Applied Business Degree in Organizational Leadership.

Student Learning Outcomes:

  • Students will recognize ethical, legal, and socially responsible business practices.
  • Students will identify, analyze, and develop possible solutions for organizational issues utilizing appropriate business and technological tools.
  • Students will demonstrate leadership and the ability to manage time, tasks, and interpersonal relationships.
  • Students will demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills using the delivery methods appropriate to the business environment.

The Organizational Leadership Certificate focuses on the understanding, development and application of leadership principles. The certificate is designed for professionals and individuals seeking to develop and advance their knowledge and skills in leadership. It aims at helping individuals become more effective at developing a personal leadership philosophy, interpersonal relationships, communication and critical thinking skills.

The certificate is intended for students who are currently in the workforce and are seeking to advance their careers and gain skills for managing and leading people in the workplace.
