DMS 208 - General Ultrasound IV Review of gynecological/obstetrical anatomy and physiology. Examines pathology and pathophysiology of the gynecological/obstetrical patient with age specific comparisons. The necessary analytical skills of different diagnoses needed in the clinical environment are emphasized. Correlation with other imaging modalities along with pertinent history and laboratory data is discussed. The interpersonal and interdepartmental relationships of the imaging department and patient management skills will be included. Medical/legal ethics involving new techniques for obstetric patients are discussed.
