DMS 105 - Vascular Ultrasound II Emphasizes sonographic protocols, anatomy, and physiology of the venous system. This course introduces venous hemodynamics and physiological factors that govern blood flow essential to the assessment of the circulatory system. Also discusses correlation of pertinent patient history, signs, symptoms, and risk factors of venous disease. Specialized arterial and venous testing will also be discussed. Emphasizes real-time scanning techniques and imaging protocols through laboratory experiences while enhancing psychomotor skills.
