PSY 270 - The Psychology of Gender *Ohio Transfer Module Course This course provides a broad overview of diverse topics and issues being studied through research in the psychology of gender. Throughout the semester we will be examining the social and biological nature of human behavior as a function of gender. In particular, we will discuss the myths and stereotypes about masculinity and femininity. We will also discuss the similarities and differences in social behavior and experience, perceptual and cognitive abilities, mental and physical health and social relationships, intimacy, power and status.
