PHY 111 - Tech Physics I - Mechanics

Studies vector mechanics, equilibrium, linear and rational kinematics and dynamics, Newton’s Laws of Motion, work, energy, power, impulse and momentum. Technical applications are emphasized and a weekly laboratory session supplements the lectures. This course should not be taken concurrently with PHY 112 . Students retaking this course must repeat both the lab and lecture.

Co-requisites: NONE

Prerequisites: MTH 170  or MTH 175  or MTH 180  

Credits: 4(Lec: 3 Lab: 3)
