PHO 202 - History of Photography Survey course designed to present the developments of photography as a technology and an art form. Students examine the impact of photography on art, science and mass communication in Western culture. Upon completion, the student will have sufficient background to recognize a variety of photographic images and genres and understand the historical context as well as contemporary ethical issues related to such images.
