DSL 251 - Advanced Service Operations

Designed to be taken during the student’s last semester; this course allows students to work in the College’s fully operational truck repair shop. Emphasizes writing and using work orders, diagnosis of failed components, repairs or routine adjustments and service of components or systems on a class 8 truck and/or trailer. The student must have an in-depth understanding of components, systems and their repair before taking this course.

Prerequisites: Permission of the Department Chair or Dean
