DSL 215 - Transmission & Torque Conv.

This course introduces students to planetary gear transmissions, which includes operation, testing and service. Students will disassemble typical transmissions and learn terminology, power flow and operating characteristics. Also included in this course is the theory and operation of torque converters and fluid couplings.

Co-requisites: DSL 130  

Prerequisites: NONE

Credits: 3(Lec: 2 Lab: 3)
