DHY 110 - Preventive Dentistry

This course provides the basic information for orientation to the profession of dental hygiene including: the history of dental hygiene, the role of the dental hygienist, professional skills, ethics, jurisprudence, terminology and introduces evidence based decision making. It introduces primary methods of dental disease prevention.
