IST 134 - Operating Systems

This course will cover the skills required to install and configure PC operating systems as well as configure and maintain common features for mobile operating systems, including Android and Apple iOS. Students will understand the basics of virtualization, desktop imaging, and deployment. This course will provide training in properly and safely diagnosing, resolving and documenting common hardware and software issues, while applying troubleshooting skills. Utilizing hands-on labs and simulations, students will be able to demonstrate the IT tasks employers are looking for and prepare for the CompTIA A+ and the TestOut PC Pro exams
