DMS 209 - Vascular Ultrasound V

Review of venous anatomy and physiology. Examines pathology and pathophysiology of the venous system with age specific comparisons. The necessary analytical skills of differential diagnosis needed in the clinical environment are emphasized. Correlation with other imaging modalities along with pertinent history and laboratory data is discussed. The interpersonal and interdepartmental relationships of the imaging department and patient management skills will be included.

Co-requisites: DMS 210 and DMS 219 and DMS 221

Prerequisites: DMS 205 and DMS 206 and DMS 215 and DMS 217 all with a “C” or better
