DMS 104 - Intro to Medical Imaging This course provides an introduction to medical imaging modalities to include computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear medicine, radiology, surgery and interventional procedures. Discusses the roles, advantages, and disadvantages of the different imaging modalities and how they correlate with diagnostic medical sonography. Topics will also include applications, sonographic terminology, ethics and professionalism. An explanation of HIPAA will be included.
Co-requisites: (DMS 105 or DMS 106 ) and (DMS 107 or DMS 108 )
Prerequisites: DMS 101 and (DMS 102 or DMS 103 )
