LTM 175 - Organic Gard & Food Sys Mgmt This course will introduce students to organic production methods and their importance within our food systems. Students will evaluate best management practices through hands-on laboratory experience in community gardens throughout Toledo. Furthermore, students will develop working definitions of organic gardening and integrated pest management (IPM) and explore the current state of our food system from a local, national and global perspective.
Co-requisites: NONE
Prerequisites: MTH 091 or equivalent. Please refer to Chapter 2 - Academic College Policy, 3358:11-2-06 Assessment Program for entering students.
