MAS 122 - Aromatherapy for MT

This course will present aromatherapy as a complementary service to massage and bodywork. The student will learn the history of aromatherapy, how to safely and beneficially apply aromatherapy techniques in a massage setting, and profiles of 24 essential oils. Therapeutic purposes and contraindications of essential oils will also be presented.
