DHY 101 - Preclinic

This preclinical course focuses on the development of clinical skills and the Dental Hygiene Process: assessment, dental hygiene diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of dental hygiene care. Lab sessions using typodonts and student partners allow students to develop clinical skills prior to client care.

Co-requisites: DHY 100  and DHY 110  and DHY 120  and DHY 138  

Prerequisites: BIO 211  and DHY 122  

Credits: 3(Lec: 1 Lab: 9)
