DMS 204 - General Ultrasound III


Review of abdominal / small parts anatomy and physiology. Examines pathology and pathophysiology of the abdomen and small parts of patients with age specific comparisons. The necessary analytical skills of differential diagnosis needed in the clinical environment are emphasized. Correlation with other imaging modalities along with pertinent history and laboratory data is discussed. The interpersonal and interdepartmental relationships of the imaging department and patient management skills will be included.

Co-requisites:  DMS 206  and DMS 214  and DMS 216  

Prerequisites:  DMS 212  with a “C” or better
