SKT 117 - Structured Wiring

Provides training in how to install structured wiring systems for both telephone and local area network (LAN) computer systems. Emphasizes skills necessary to install unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cables to meet the EIA/TIA-568 wiring standards for Category 5 data installations.

Co-requisites: NONE

Prerequisites: Permission of Skilled Trades director or coordinator.
