OAD 135 - Intro to Office Administration
This course introduces the student to skills needed for a successful transition to the college and program. It also addresses basic responsibilities of the office support employee. The soft skills and knowledge necessary for success in the twenty-first century office are stressed, (i.e. appropriate business etiquette and customer service) along with the technical skills necessary to work successfully with telephone systems. Students will begin developing a portfolio that is used throughout the program.
