Security Tech Certificate Information

The IST Security Tech certificate is for students planning to enter the IT security field or planning to continue their education beyond an Associates degree. Students gain a diverse foundation in IT security encompassing operating systems, hardware, software, and networking. Students will understand the risks associated with managing and maintaining a secure environment in the IT world. In this certificate students can earn six industry standard certifications. This field is one of the biggest projected growth areas in employment where 1 in 3 IT positions will have a cyber security focus through 2029.
